Emotional Associations + Colour Psychology

Devotional space is a haven for those that feel lost in the world of practices, providing a straightforward path of unwavering devotion to the simple: movement and stillness.

This paradox is reflected in the black/white contrast in the branding, reminding us of duality, that we need both the yin/yang. This play on masculine/feminine also appears in the round buttons, and soft imagery, contained by lines and squares - the way a client of Carolina feels in her sacred holding, free to surrender and move inside the lines.

The colour psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, rejuvenating our spirit.

This online monastery is a breath of relief and reconnection to the visitor — with easy to navigate functionality, lots of white space and minimalism to not unnecessarily add more noise than what is already in the mind of our beloved viewer. This brand isn’t begging for attention - it stands in conviction of its power, without flashy distractions. Throughout the brand clarity process, there was repetition of nature-words: storm, field, and the like… as well as depth, richness, stillness. These qualities are expressed in the colour palette and selected imagery to curate a textured backdrop to the sites experience that goes beyond the screen, and further into the unseen realms, suggesting the subconscious work and spiritual exploration of Devotion Space + its offerings.
